Our Thoughts

stranded bags!
Seattle, Washington - what a beautiful city and State of mountains and forests, oceans and seafood. Just a shame we couldn't be there longer. We resisted the temptation to join Simeon and Eileen on their honeymoon eventhough we were geographically so close (Truly a sign of love, Simeon & Eileen!) and instead had a great albeit short time with our friend Rob.

After an intense day spent with an expert company on organization partnerships yesterday, we headed to Los Angeles via San Francisco this a.m. In fact, we're at the LA airport now, United Airlines having lost our bags. Maybe we should tell them to just burn one or two of our suitcases or something. Frankly, we're tired of lugging so many bags around. I almost feel that people are judging us when we check our bags in at the airport: "ah yes, another woman's wardrobe problem". So each time, I feel obliged to explain - this is all we own, everything but the kitchen sink :) ..

Anyway, I guess they could do away with any of our earthly belongings at this point except for the fact that we are about to board a cruise to Mexico with Andrew's family for a week - no, I am not kidding! Practical to bring along some clothing I suppose, so we'll continue to wait. So as soon as we find out where in the USA our bags are, we're off on the boat of seniors to Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas. :) Adios amigos!

PS: for those avid readers of our blog, yes, we survived the cruise.
